NAMPA, Idaho -- The Eastern Oregon University women's soccer team dropped a match at Northwest Nazarene University, 4-0, Thursday.

The Mountaineers (1-2) fell behind in the 35th minute of play when Autumn Yturbe put a shot off of EOU goalkeeper, Chantal Schefers, into the back of the net. Julianne Steele earned an assist on the play, sending the ball up the sideline for Yturbe's finish.

Leading 1-0 at the half, Jenny Field would score the second goal of the match in the 69th minute. Field's goal was an unassisted score from 12 yards out. Jessie Cahill scored her second career goal in the 84th minute from four yards four yards out off of a Haley Steever assist.
 
Field found the net again five minutes later to complete the scoring. Celina Mortensen crossed in a ball to Field who scored on a one-touch shot from eight yards away.
 
The Crusaders out-shot the Mountaineers 16 to nine and held a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
 
NNU (1-0) goalkeeper Tanya Zickefoose recorded four saves and EOU's Schefers had six.

The Mountaineers travel to Walla Walla, Wash. Sunday for their next contest at NCAA Div. 3 opponent, Whitman College. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. PT.
