• Eastern Oregon is 8-1 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play for the first time in school history.
• The Mountaineers are one-win away from equaling last year's conference win total.
• Kaki Morehead won her 70th career game last Saturday over Walla Walla.
• After having its longest losing streak in eight years, EOU matched its longest win streak since 2000.
• The Mountaineers are 9-1 all-time against Northwest Christian.
• The Beacons' lone victory over EOU was the first meeting between the schools on Sept. 21, 2007, 3-1, in Eugene.
• Eastern responded by winning the next 27 consecutive sets.
