Box Score LA GRANDE, Ore. -- The Corban University women's soccer team picked up an overtime win on the road Saturday at Eastern Oregon University, 2-1.
The Warriors (11-6, 5-3 Cascade Collegiate Conference) used a goal in the 96th minute in the first extra period for the victory. Corban defeated EOU for the 11th time out of the 12 all-time meetings.
Corban dominated the offensive side of the ball, recording 31 shots to Eastern's five. The Warriors put 13 shots on goal, while EOU had two shots on goal. The Mountaineers'
Chantal Schefers finished with 11 saves.
Brittany Bowman found the back of the net in the 11th minute with an assist from Emily Tsugawa. It was the first of two assists for Tsugawa on the day, and her eighth and ninth assists this season.

Erika Whitehurst for the equalizing goal. It was Whitehurst's second goal and Lankert's first assist this season.
Rileigh Mankin placed a ball high in the left side of the net just inside the 18-yard box six minutes into the first extra period. Tsugawa placed a ball perfectly to Mankin's right foot for the goal.
The Warriors finished with nine corner kicks, while Eastern 1(3-10-1, 1-6-1) had zero in the game. Each team finished with nine fouls.
The Mountaineers welcome Northwest Christian (1-14, 1-7) Monday in the final game of the regular season and Senior Day in La Grande. The Beacons fell at The College of Idaho (6-8-1, 4-3-1) Saturday, 3-0. Corban travels to C of I for a match on Monday.
