LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University Athletic Department will be hosting “Beach Night in Quinn Coliseum' Saturday.

Fans are encouraged to dress in their best beach attire and cheer for EOU volleyball when it hosts No. 12 in the NAIA, Southern Oregon University. The Mountaineers (9-6) (5-4) currently sit in a pivotal position in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings.

Eastern is tied with Northwest University in fourth place at the halfway mark of the league schedule. The top four teams advance to postseason play. Southern (12-2) (9-0) has yet to lose a conference match, and has won nine consecutive matches. The Raiders rallied to beat EOU earlier this season in Ashland, 3-1, after falling in the first set.

The first 70 EO Zoo members with a valid I.D. will receive a “Wear White Get Luau'd” shirt. All other fans are encouraged to wear white to the game along with their beach clothes. Fans who are wearing beach attire will receive a giveaway. The match will begin at 7 p.m. and be live video streamed on EOUSports.com with live stats available as well.
