OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The Eastern Oregon University volleyball team had little trouble with the Geoducks of Evergreen State College Saturday night.
The Mountaineers swept TESC, 25-12, 25-15, and 25-13. EOU moves to 13-7 overall and 11 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Geoducks fall to 1-22 and 1-14.
"It's always good to have a sweep on a long road trip," Eastern head coach Kaki Morehead said. "The girls played well and it was nice to have a unified effort."
EOU clinched a playoff spot in the conference tournament with the victory, and sit in fourth place with two weekends left on the regular season.
Grace Deboodt led the Mountaineers with seven kills, and a hitting percentage of .312. Jessica Lea had a match-high 25 assists, and Kaitlyn Duncan added 12 digs.
Eastern returns to the court Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. MT at The College of Idaho. EOU welcomes Warner Pacfic and Concorida to close out the regular season on Nov. 6 and 7.
