He wore EOU’s legacy jersey #7 in his senior year, and also helped lead the Mountaineers to a share of the Frontier Conference Championship in 2020.

Taylor began his collegiate career at Boise State University (2016–2018), where he was part of the Broncos' 2017 Mountain West Conference Championship and Las Vegas Bowl victory.
