Eastern Oregon University Athletics

Marco Retano joined the Eastern Oregon University wrestling program in 2023 and currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Mountaineer Women’s Wrestling team. He has two years of coaching experience at EOU, assisting both the men’s and women’s programs.

A former Mountaineer, Retano competed in wrestling for EOU, gaining firsthand experience as a student-athlete at the NAIA level.

Retano earned his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Sport as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from Eastern Oregon University in Culver, Oregon. He brings his passion for wrestling and athlete development to the Mountaineer program.
