Eastern Oregon University Athletics

Maggie Ledbetter joined the Eastern Oregon University Track & Field coaching staff in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Coach, working with the Mountaineer throwers.

Before returning to her alma mater, Ledbetter spent two years (2023–2025) coaching Cross Country and Track & Field at Elgin High School, where she guided a 1A Girls State Champion in the discus throw.

As a student-athlete, Ledbetter was one of the most decorated throwers in EOU history. Competing for the Mountaineers for five seasons, she earned seven All-American honors across the discus, shot put, and weight throw, and captured a National Championship title in the shot put.

A native of Cove, Oregon, Ledbetter earned her Bachelor’s degree in English/Writing from Eastern Oregon University in 2022 and her Master’s degree in Secondary Education in 2023.
