Eastern Oregon University Athletics

Kyle Knudtson began his coaching career with Eastern Oregon University in 2025, joining the Mountaineer wrestling staff as a Graduate Assistant.

Before stepping into coaching, Knudtson was a standout student-athlete for the EOU wrestling program, competing for five years and developing a deep connection to the team’s culture of excellence. In addition to his time on the mat, he volunteered with multiple wrestling clubs, helping develop youth and high school athletes across Oregon.

Knudtson earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Eastern Oregon University in 2025 — one in Health and Human Performance with concentrations in Exercise Science and Physical Education & Sport, and another in Psychology.

Originally from Prineville, Oregon, Knudtson brings a strong work ethic and a passion for the sport to the Mountaineer wrestling program as he begins his coaching career.
