A five-year veteran of the Eastern Oregon University football program, Blaine Shaw joined the staff as an assistant coach for safeties in 2025.
As a student-athlete for the Mountaineers, Shaw earned multiple accolades for his performance on the field and in the classroom. He was a two-time Academic All-Conference selection, an NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, and received All-Conference Honorable Mention honors in both 2023 and 2024. Shaw was also recognized nationally during his senior season, earning NAIA Defender of the Week.
The La Grande, Oregon native graduated from EOU in 2025 with his degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Business Administration.
