Assistant Coach | 1st Season 

Ashton Bales joined the Eastern Oregon University volleyball coaching staff in 2025, beginning her first season as an assistant coach for the Mountaineers.

A former EOU standout, Bales competed for the Mountaineers for five years, contributing to the program’s continued success in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and on the national stage. Before her time at EOU, she played one season of collegiate volleyball at Concordia University in Portland.

Bales earned her Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies from Eastern Oregon University in 2023 and completed her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2024. Originally from Yakima, Washington, she brings energy, leadership, and firsthand experience as a Mountaineer to her new coaching role.
