2024 • Senior: Played in 26 games and started 22 games for the Mounties... Had a batting average of .263... Tallied 20 hits and 12 runs on the season with 7 doubles... Hit a home run in the game versus Oregon Tech February 14th... Made 3 appearances and pitched 7.0 innings. 

2023 • Junior: Started 26 games for the Mounties... Pitched 35.0 innings in the 2023 season... Tallied 7 runs and 18 hits on the season, including 7 doubles and 2 home runs... Had a batting average of .234... Tallied 115 putouts and 25 assists on defense. 

In High School: Burns graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 2019 where he played baseball. He was Honorable Mention in 2018 and 1st Team Infield and 2nd Team Pitcher in 2019.

Before EOU: Burns previously attended Yakima Valley Community College where he played baseball and was 2 time All NWAC Academic Team. 

Off the Field: Burns is son of Elaine and John and brother of Megan. He enjoys golf, video games, hiking, and swimming.
