Made an appearance in 14 games for the Navy & Gold in the infield and in the circle … Started in seven games total, with one at pitcher … Racked up three hits and scored two runs in 20 at bats … In the circle, she pitched in 9.0 innings and fanned two batters … Had 13 putouts on defense and tallied three assists.
Before EOU: Began her collegiate career at Lindenwood University-Belleville under Coach Charlie Kennedy … Appeared in 16 games in the circle and got the starting nod in three. Pitched 32.0 innings, primarily as a reliever and fanned 11 batters … Led the pitching staff with a 2.84 ERA and held opposing batters to a .280 average … Helped her team earn a bid to the American MidWest Conference Tournament … Named to the Academic All-Conference team for her work in the classroom.
In High School: Was a four-year varsity lettterwinner at Hood River Valley High School under Coach Eric Keller … Earned First Team All-League honors at infielder as a junior and posted a .997 fielding percentage that season … Was an Honorable Mention selection at infielder as a senior and hit eight home runs that season … Helped her team make two back-to-back State Tournament appearances in 2017 and 2018 … Also competed and lettered in basketball, volleyball, swimming, and winter cheerleading … Was part a volleyball team that made the State Tournament in 2016 and 2017 … Played club softball for the Vancouver Patriots.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Gretchen Winans … Her father played football at eastern and her older sister, Lauren, competed in track & field.
