2024 • Senior: Played and started 48 games for the Mounties... Had the second best batting average of the team with .32... Tallied the most hits and runs on the team with 59 hits and 42 runs... Hit a total of 16 doubles, 1 triple, and 8 home runs on the season... Hit a season high of 3 home runs in the game versus Whitworth on March 10th... On defense, had 79 putouts and 85 assists... Was a golden glove honoree for his excellence as a second baseman... Is the first player to win a golden glove award since the program's reinstatement in 2021. 

2023 • Junior: Started in 30 games for the Mounties in the 2023 season... Tallied 14 runs and 26 hits, including 10 doubles and one home run... Had a batting average of .257...Tallied 19 putouts and 30 assists on defense.

In High School: Freitas graduated from Mariposa County in 2018 where he played baseball. As a sophomore, he was awarded First Team All-League. As a junior and senior, he was awarded league MVP and Small School All-State in California. 

Before EOU: Freitas attended Allan Hancock Community College where he played baseball and was a Western State Conference All-League player in 2021 and 2022.

Off the Field: Freitas is son of Judy and Rod and brother of Mark, Matt, Rhys, Darren, Renee, and Nikki. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and truck camping.
