Eastern Oregon University Athletics

Marty Munyon joined the Eastern Oregon University Track & Field squad ahead of the 2022-2023 academic year where he spent the last year with EOU as the graduate assistant coach. Munyon competed as a thrower at Spokane Falls Community before transferring to Washington State University. 

While with EOU, Munyon helped with coaching throwers and multis. In his time at EOU Munyon has helped send 13 athletes to the NAIA National Meets and produced 6 All-Americans as well as 1 National Champion in Shot Put Maggie Ledbetter (Shot, 15.47).

While at WSU, Munyon was a contributor to the Cougars team. Munyon posted career-best of 59.46 in the hammer throw and 16.47 in the weight throw. Munyon was also a competitor in the Pac-12 championship meet both years he competed for the cougars.

Munyon graduated from Washington State in the spring of 2022 with a Bachelor's degrees in Sport Management and finance. He is on track to graduate from Eastern Oregon with a Masters in Business Administration.
