COACHING CAREER

2023: Taylor began his coaching career in the spring of 2022 with the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers overseeing linebackers and special teams. In the 2023 season the Mounties finished 2-8. Taylor coached two Frontier Conference players of the week in linebacker Jason Grand and defensive back Blaine Shaw.

PLAYING CAREER

Eastern Oregon (2020-2022): Standout linebacker and leader for the Mountaineers from 2020-22. Earned three First Team All Conference awards in the Frontier Conference and was a team captain in each of those seasons (’20, ’21, ’22). Wore the EOU legacy number, (#7) his senior year. In his final season he was a Cliff Harris Award nominee as one of the best small school linebackers in the country. Helped lead the Mounties to a co-Frontier Conference championship in 2020.

Boise State (2016-19): Member of the Boise State Broncos from 2016 to 2019 where he was a part of the 2017 team that won the Mountain West Conference Championship and the Las Vegas Bowl Championship.

PERSONAL

A native of Rigby, Idaho, Taylor graduated from Rigby High School in 2016 before continuing his athletic career at Boise State and Eastern Oregon University. Taylor graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University in 2020. He then earned his Master’s of Business Administration in 2022 from EOU.
