Suiaunoa enters his third season with the Mountaineers and his first as the defensive coordinator.
Suiaunoa had previously been the defensive line coach and was instrumental in the development of a young defensive line which included NAIA 1st Team All American, Seath Kimball.
Prior joining Tim Camp’s Eastern Oregon University staff Suiaunoa coached at Procter Hug High School in Reno, Nev. during the 2008 season. Suiaunoa previously coached at his alma mater, Leone High School as well as Nu'uuli Polytechnical High School in American Samoa.
While at Leone High School the team went to two consecutive Island Championship games, winning the title in 2006.
Suiaunoa is a native of American Samoa and is married to the former Alosina Fuiava.
