Justin Udy enters his third year on the EOU Football coaching staff. He is responsible for the Wide Receivers and is the Special Teams Coordinator.
Udy has a wide range of coaching experience. He has coached wide receivers for two years, was the video coordinator for two years, an equipment manager for two year and is in his first year as the special team’s coordinator.
In the 2013 season, Udy coached Jace Billingsley who became the single season career receptions record holder at EOU by recording 69 receptions during the season.
Prior to getting into coaching, Udy was a four year member of the Mountaineer football team. In his career he appeared in 39 games for the Mountaineers recorded 67 receptions for 721 yards and scored four touchdowns. In 2010 and 2011, Udy was named the Most Valuable Teammate. He also succeeded off the field, as was a two time NAIA Daktronics Academic All-American and a four time Frontier Conference Academic All-Conference selection.
Udy graduated from Eastern Oregon in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing Management. He earned his MBA in 2013 from EOU.
