Emory Jones became EOU's defensive line coach in 2014 and was later appointed the offensive coach (tackles/tight ends) in 2016. He also serves as the Mountaineers' strength and conditioning coach.Â
During his playing career at EOU, Jones earned second-team all-conference plaudits in 2013 for his play as an offensive lineman. A two-time team captain, Jones also succeeded off the field and was a three-time Frontier Conference Academic All-Conference selection.Â

In 2014, Jones earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from EOU. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration. His hobbies include fly fishing and hunting.
