In High School: Graduated from Kuna High School in 2018 where his team was the 2016 4A District Champions.

Before EOU: Attended Walla Walla Community College where he earned a 5-2 record and a 2.80 earned run average. 

Off the Field: Son of Douglas and Jennifer Nell. Majoring in Health Studies and Art. Favorite sports hero is Mike Trout. Enjoys skiing, disc golfing, and gaming. Favorite movies are the Sandlot, Major League, and the Jason Bourne series. Favorite book is Supermarket by Bobby Hall.
