In High School: Was a multiple-year letterwinner at Winston Churchill High School under Coach Kenny Niles … Was a First Team All-League selection as an outfielder one season … Named the OSAA 5A/6A All-Star series MVP at pitcher in his senior season … Batted .420 in his senior season and racked up 28 RBI on offense … Held a 2.04 ERA as a senior and struck out 57 batters in 58 innings pitched … Finished the year with a 6-2 record on the bump … Also competed and lettered in ice hockey as a freshman and sophomore … Scored 48 goals and had 57 assists in route to a State Championship his sophomore year … Played Junior League Hockey as a junior in high school … Scored 15 goals that year along with tallying 28 assists as his squad won a Conference Championship and finished third at Nationals … Played club baseball for the Medford Rogues.
