In High School: Was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Pendleton High School under Coach TJ Haguewood … Garnered All-Conference honors as a pitcher in his junior season … Posted a 0.70 ERA in 57 innings of work as a junior … Helped lead his team to a Runner-Up Finish in the State Tournament in his junior season and a District Championship … Was the starter in the State Championship game … Pitched a complete game shutout in the State Quarterfinals and threw just 88 pitches in the win … Also competed and lettered in football and basketball … Was named All-Conference at quarterback in his senior season in 2019 … Helped his football team win back-to-back District Championships (2018, 2019) and make an appearance in the State Semifinals in 2019 … Was a key part of the basketball team that won the 2019-20 District Championship in his senior year … Received the Walt Johnson Three-Sport Athlete Award … Academically, he graduated high school with Honors.
