John Farrington

Johnny Farrington joined the EOU Baseball ahead of the 2021 season. Prior to being added to the Mountaineer staff, he was an assistant coach at Lane Community College from 2017-19.
 
Before coaching at LCC, Farrington spent one season a graduate assistant at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kan. He helped the team to 24-20 record that spring and an appearance in Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals. That summer is the head coach of Yorkton Cardinals, a collegiate summer baseball team that competed in Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL).
 
In the summer of 2017, Farrington was an assistant coach for Doc Stewarts Baseball, an American Legion AAA Baseball Team in Douglas County, Ore. He also spent the 2015 and 2016 summers as the head coach of Rockingham Rams in Australia.
 
Farrington played his collegiate baseball at Biola University. He was four-year letterwinner from 2011-14 and his junior season (2013) Farrington was named a Gold Glove recipient for the Golden State Athletic Conference.

Farrington received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Biola in May 2014. He is currently working on his Master’s of Science degree in Coaching and Exercise Science from Concordia University (Ore.).
