2024 • Sophomore: Played in 23 games and started 6 games for the Mounties... Tallied 5 runs and 2 hits on the season... On defense, had 6 putouts and 1 assist. 

2023 • Freshman: Started 2 games for the Mounties his freshman season.

In High School: Gerding graduated from Philomath High School in 2022. He played baseball, football, and basketball. 

Off the Field: Gerding is son of Tricia and Rick and brother of Austin. He enjoys surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hunting.
