“We did really well. We came together really nicely and just took our time passing the ball around, which we needed to do. We played calm. Whitman was really scattered. We played as more of a team today. It was a lot better today. We felt more confident. “

“I think our overall performance was good. We worked for each other. We played off the ball and our work rate was there. I think we worked a lot harder and played for each other today. We worked as a team instead of individuals. “

On the Trinity Lutheran game…
“I’m happy with the win. We needed to win. We needed to show ourselves that we can come out on that side of the scoreboard. I’m happy with the way we scored the goal, which was good. I’m happy with how we limited their opportunities for the most part on our defensive end. We still need to work on some things obviously, as anybody does. And we need to make sure we make better decisions because we are still shooting ourselves in the foot. “

Thoughts on this game compared to Whitman…
“We had a better outing than Whitman. We were able to get ahold of the ball in this game and we were able to do some things both on and off the ball. But again, the decision making still has to improve. We need to be smarter on and off the ball, defensively and in the attack. We had more of a purpose to our work rate today than we did at Whitman. It was more consistent and had more of a purpose. It was a definite step up."
