Personal- Born Howard McDonald on October 28, 1991 in Bremerton, Washington. Parents: Darby and Tina McDonald. Family: Brett 17, Brittany 22. High School: Central Kitsap High School. Major: Mathematics. Chose Eastern Oregon because of football.
High School-  While participating in football McDonald was named offensive MVP of Narrows as a junior, League MVP of as a senior, and AP 1st Team All-State as a Running Back his senior year. Against Snohomish he carried the ball 17 times for a school record 398 yards and 5 touchdowns. In baseball he was selected 1st Team All-Narrows as a junior, and 2nd All-Narrows as a senior. McDonald was also an alternate to state in wrestling
