Ethan Cutler has been named to the 2025 AFCA NAIA Coaches' All-America First Team, announced Thursday morning by the American Football Coaches Association.
Cutler, a red-shirt junior from Eagle, Idaho, earned the honor following a standout season as the Frontier Conference's top punter. He averaged an impressive 41.0 yards per punt on 62 attempts, accumulating a total of 2,541 yards. His precision and power consistently flipped field position, with 25 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line and 15 of 50+ yards, including a long of 69 yards.
In addition to his elite punting, Cutler contributed as both a placekicker and kickoff specialist, converting 15-of-16 PATs and adding six field goals while managing kickoff duties with over 2,000 total yards. His versatility and reliability across all three kicking phases make him a standout choice for AFCA All-America recognition.
The AFCA's NAIA All-America Selection Committee consists of two head coaches from each of the association's seven districts. Each district chairman, along with a committee chair, oversees the selection process, which involves ranking top players and finalizing the team through a conference call.
