LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Men's Wrestling is excited to announce that reigning National Champion Hunter Sparks will be returning for the upcoming 2024-25 season, this time as an assistant coach.
"We are extremely excited to add Hunter Sparks to our coaching staff," says Head Coach Dustyn Azure. "Coach Sparks comes with a wealth of knowledge, high expectations, and pride for our program. We are grateful to see Hunter Sparks giving back to the sport and beginning to develop our student-athletes into champions on and off the mat."

Additionally, he was named the 2024 NAIA Outstanding Wrestler of the Year, CCC Wrestler of the Year, and Academic All-American while maintaining an overall record of 20-1.
"I am extremely excited to continue working with this team," says Sparks. "Eastern Oregon Wrestling has continually improved year after year, and I am excited to see us climb to the top. I am honored to be able to share my knowledge and techniques with these men and cannot wait to see them succeed in the upcoming season. MOUNT UP!"
