KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Eastern Oregon men's cross country maintained its position among the nation's top programs, holding the No. 10 spot in the latest NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday.
The Mountaineers earned 447 points, placing just behind No. 9 Lewis-Clark State and ahead of No. 11 Cumberlands.
Milligan remains the top-ranked team, securing 19 of 21 first-place votes, while The Master's received the remaining two, moving up to No. 2.
Eastern Oregon continues to compete in a highly competitive field, as the Cascade Collegiate Conference boasts four programs in the rankings. College of Idaho leads at No. 4, followed by Lewis-Clark State (No. 9), Eastern Oregon (No. 10), and Corban (No. 23).
The Mountaineers will aim to build on their ranking at the 49th Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational on October 5.
