WHITTIER, Calif. – Eastern Oregon Women's Lacrosse wrapped up their first California road trip of the year Saturday morning when they took on the Poets of Whittier College. The woes continued for the Mounties who dropped the game 0-28. With the loss, Eastern falls to 0-4 on the year.
Whittier put their foot on the gas in the first quarter scoring 13 goals. The Poets had three players score three goals to account for nine of the 13 total. Whittier added six points in the second, and another six in the third to go up 25-0 with one frame to go. The Poets scored three more to wrap things up in the fourth quarter highlighted by Payton Climer's fourth goal.
EOU will take a couple weeks off before returning to action on Saturday, March 4 to take on Multnomah on the road.
