GREAT FALLS, Mont- Eastern Oregon returned to the mat Thursday evening as they took on the Argos of The University of Providence in a Cascade Collegiate Conference dual. Eastern jumped out to an earlier lead but ultimately the Argos took the dual by a score of 28-15.

The Mountaineers took an earlier lead after Hunter Sparks earned six team points in his 125-pound match, winning by pin over Deandre Coles four minutes into the match. Braden Carson extended the Mountie lead to 9-0 after he won by a riding time tiebreaker, 3-2. The Argos bounced back in a big way winning five matches in a row to take a 20-9 lead. In the 184-pound match, Kyle Knudtson earned six team points for the Mounties after he took his match by pin over Alan Badley. The Argos took the final two matches, winning the dual by a score of 28-15.
