Reno, Nev- Eastern Oregon was back in action Friday evening as they traveled to Reno, Nevada to take on Montana State University-Northern and Saint Ambrose (Iowa) in a pair of duals prior to the Reno Tournament of Champions which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 18.
EOU vs MSU-N
EOU jumped out to an early 14-0 lead over MSU-N and never looked back. The Mounties were led by two pins, the first coming in the 141 pound weight class by Jaxon Morlan over Northerns Colin Silberthorn. The next was by Kyle Knudtson as he was able to pin MSU-N's Austin Vanek. This was Knudtson's 31st career pin, tying the EOU all time record for pins. EOU ultimately rolled to a 30-15 win over MSU-N taking their record dual record to 3-1 on the 2022 season.

EOU vs Saint Ambrose (Iowa)
EOU jumped out to another strong start over the Fighting Bees of Saint Ambrose University. The Mountaineers were led by three pins on their route to a 36-13 victory. The first came in the 125 pound division as
Luciano Fasulo took down the Fighting Bee's Michael Chagnon. The next came in the 141 pound division by
Jaxon Morlan over Hunter Meyrer. The final pin of the night came by
Kyle Knudtson. This pin by Knudtson was the 32nd pin of his career as a Mountaineer making him the program's all time leader in pins.
