The Mountaineers scored the go-ahead run on an RBI single by freshman Haley Ebner to score Spencer from third to take the lead 6-5. However, in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Warriors loaded the bases, and with two outs, senior outfielder Jena Ovens hit a walk-off grand slam, giving EOU their third loss of the season.
