HAVRE, Mont. – The EOU men's wrestling team collected wins in three different weight classes Friday afternoon, but ultimately fell to the hands of MSU-Northern, 30-13.
"We went out and fought hard against a tough team. We lost close matches that I felt could have gone either way," said head coach
Dustyn Azure.
Sophomore
Mhar Caballa (125) notched a majority decision victory, junior
Matt Nguyen (133) won by fall and freshman
Braeden Phillips (197) defeated his opponent by sudden victory.
"We are proud of the team but definitely not satisfied. We are sitting in a great spot and we're still growing," Azure said.
