SALEM, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team drilled 14 three's and shot over 50 percent for the second-straight contest, and the Mountaineers breezed past (RV) Corban, 102-75, on Friday Night in Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) play.

Senior guard Case Rada registered a season-high 30 points on 9-for-15 shooting, including seven jumpers from beyond the arc. Junior guard Kentrell Washington added 20 points, nine boards, and five assists, while senior forward Christian Parrott went 7-for-10 and tallied a career-best 16 points off the bench. In addition, sophomore forward Brandon Hoston tallied 12 points and six assists.
Cyrus Ward paced Corban (5-4, 1-2 CCC) with 24 points and five rebounds.
The Storyline
Rada drained three-consecutive jumpers from downtown in the opening three minutes to help EOU build a 9-2 advantage. Corban ultimately got to within four (13-9), but Parrott netted three-straight buckets to ignite a 19-9 run over the next seven minutes to put EOU on top, 32-18, with 5:21 left in the opening half. The Mountaineers continued to shoot lights out, drilling five of their last nine shots of the half to take a 44-29 lead into the locker room.
EOU shot 53.1 percent (17-for-32) from the field in the first frame and nailed eight three's, while Corban went 0-for-6 from beyond the arc in the opening half.
Two free throws by Rada and a three by Hoston extended EOU's advantage to 20 (49-29) just over a minute into the second half. The Warriors got as close as 15 (53-38) after a jumper by Caleb Herzberg, but EOU went 6-for-7 at the charity stripe and then hit eight-straight shots to pull ahead by 21 (81-60) with 8:30 left to play. Rada and Washington swooshed three's to extend EOU's lead to 25, and the Mountaineers led by as many as 32 after freshman guard Caulin Bakalarski put the Mountaineers up, 97-65, with 3:28 left to go.
The 102-75 victory was EOU's biggest win over Corban since the 2008-09 campaign.
