No. 23
After falling out of the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 last week, the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers come in at No. 23 in the seventh edition of the Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Monday. The eighth edition of the Coaches' Top 25 comes out on Nov. 3.
 
Frontier Player of the Week
Junior, Marc David has been named the Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the Frontier Conference announced Monday. David was a perfect 10-for-10 on extra points in the Mountaineers 70-21 win over MSU-Northern. He recorded six punts for an average of 41.7 yards with a long of 65 yards. 
 
Last Week
EOU overpowered the Montana State University Northern Lights, to a 70-21 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers recorded 583 yards of total offense, during the game. Zach Bartlow threw for 255 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 28 yards and a score, leading the Mountaineers. On the ground,Jace Billingsley rushed for 89 yards and three touchdowns. He also recorded 10 receptions for 82 yards. Tucker Stanley led the Mountaineers with 13 tackles.
 
Earlier this Season vs. Tech
The Eastern Oregon University Football team rebounded from its first loss of the season last week to defeat Montana Tech, 39-13, on Saturday afternoon. EOU rushed for a season-high 259 yards. Zach Bartlow led the Mountaineers, as he was 17-of-31 for 219 yards and three touchdowns. TJ Esekielu rushed for a game-high 79 yards and AJ Prom followed with 72 rushing yards. Jace Billingsley recorded 104 receiving yards on four receptions.
 
All-Time Against Tech
Eastern Oregon  trails in the all-time series versus Montana Tech, 11-13.
 
70 Points
On Saturday the Mountaineers scored 70 points. This is the most points the Mountaineers have scored since they scored 76 points on Sept. 27, 2008 against Rocky Mountain, which was also held at Community Stadium.
 
Senior Day
This Saturday, Nov. 1 is Senior Day for the Mountaineers. EOU will honor 17 seniors of the football team prior to the contest against Montana Tech.
 
Scoring Offense
The Mountaineers enter this game against Montana Tech with the second best scoring offense in the Frontier Conference. EOU is averaging 36.8 points per game. This is 15th best in the NAIA.
 
All-Purpose Yards
Jace Billingsley recorded 292 all-purpose yards against Montana State-Northern. This season, Billingsley has gained 1,278 all-purpose yards. This is the seventh most all-purpose yards in the NAIA.
 
Road Finish
The Mountaineers will play their final two games of the season on the road as they travel to College of Idaho on Nov. 8 and Southern Oregon on Nov. 15.
