Chris McGinnis-Parker has rushed for 1,197 yards on the season. He is only 108 yards away from passing Kevin Sampson single season rushing yard of 1,305, which was set in 2010. Currently, McGinnis-Parker sets in third place and is 26 yards away from second place.
Reception Record
Sophomore
Jace Billingsley has recorded 63 receptions on the season. This is the third most receptions in a season for one player at EOU. He currently sits five receptions away from tying the record of 68, held by Phil Nyby in 2000.
Receiving Votes
In the latest NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll, which was released Monday, the Mountaineers had received nine votes. They currently set four points shy of the 25th place ranking. This is the first time all season Eastern Oregon has been receiving votes.
Last time verse Montana Western
The last time the Mountaineers took the field was Oct. 5, when Eastern Oregon defeated then-No. 21 Montana Western, 20-0. It was EOU's first shutout since Oct. 27, 2012 when the Mountaineers defeated Dickinson State, 14-0.
