Verse Rocky Mountain
Eastern Oregon University and Rocky Mountain have met a total of 16 times, with the first meeting coming on Oct. 23, 2004. EOU won that game 47-0. The Mountaineers lead the all-time series 11-5. Eastern Oregon is currently on a two game winning streak against Rocky Mountain. Below are the last five meetings between EOU and Rocky Mountain.

Last Year's Meeting
Last year Rocky Mountain traveled to La Grande, Ore. to face EOU. It was homecoming for the Mountaineers, who trailed 10-0 at halftime and 24-13 after three quarters of play. In the fourth quarter.
Kedrick Starr took a punt return 83 yards for a touchdown to put EOU down 24-20. Later in the quarter
Jace Billingsley scored on a touchdown reception to give the Mountaineer a 26-24 lead. EOU capped the came from behind victory with a safety and defeated Rocky Mountain 28-24.
McGinnis-Parker
For the second straight week
Chris McGinnis-Parker carried the load for the Mountaineers offense. After a 31 carry 187 yard game against then-No. 3 Carroll, McGinnis-Parker followed it up with 27 carries and rushed for 182 yard against then-No. 21 Montana Western. This was his fourth 100 plus yards rushing performance of the season.
Verse Ranked Teams
This season Eastern Oregon University is 2-1 when it plays a team ranked in the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 poll. The last two weeks the Mountaineers have played, they have defeated then-No. 3 Carroll and then-No. 21 Montana Western. The lone loss against a ranked team came to Montana Tech when the Orediggers were ranked No. 7 in the nation. This week the Mountaineers line up to face the No. 12 Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears and will look to win its third straight against a ranked opponent.
Last Time Out
The last time the Mountaineers took the field was Oct. 5, when Eastern Oregon defeated then-No. 21 Montana Western, 20-0. It was EOU's first shutout since Oct. 27, 2012 when the Mountaineers defeated Dickinson State, 14-0.
Chris McGinnis-Parker led the way for Eastern Oregon as he rushed for 182 yards on 27 carries. EOU has won two straight.
