DILLON, Mont. -- The Eastern Oregon University football team picked up a road win after a 45-24 victory at Montana Western Saturday.
The Mountaineers got six touchdowns from quarterback Chris Ware, five passing and one rushing score. The sophomore was named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week last week in the win over Rocky Mountain College.
The EOU defense held a talented Western passing offense to 273 yards in the air. Jordyn Jackson was on the receiving end of two touchdown passes from Ware.

Tim Camp said. "That is a good Montana Western football club! I am very encouraged by our players and coaches. We had our hands full all day. We are very fortunate to be leaving Dillon with a win."
Eastern Oregon will look to extend its winning streak to three games next Saturday in Butte, Mont. against Montana Tech. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. MT. The pregame show will begin at 11:40 a.m. PT on KCMB 104.7 and EOUSports.com.
