BILLINGS, Mont. – The stage was set, and the Mountaineers delivered.
On Friday afternoon, the Eastern Oregon University women's soccer team handed (RV) Rocky Mountain College its fourth defeat of the season, as the Navy and Gold confined the Battlin' Bears to just three shots to seal the victory in the NAIA Match of the Week.
"I'm really proud of how the girls battled against a very good Rocky Mountain College team on the road," said head women's soccer coach Justin Wagar. "It was a team effort and was fun to watch. We've got another tough road matchup at College of Idaho on Sunday."
