2024 - Sophomore: Appeared in 20 games for the Mounties starting 14 of those, Hernandez was a key leader in the Mountaineer midfield as he totaled 2 goals, one of those coming in the CCC Championship game, and racked in 2 assist, he totaled 22 shots with 7 of those being on frame, also earned Daktronics Scholar athlete award and an Academic All District honors. 

2023 - Freshman: Played in 15 games and started 12 games as a freshman for the Mounties... Scored his first goal at EOU against Bushnell toward the end of the season... Had one assist on the season against Walla Walla... Attempted 22 total shots and had 7 shots on goal, with a season high of 2 shots on goal against Bushnell. 

In High School:  A standout at Sammamish High School... Recognized as First Team All-State and two-time First Team All-KINGCO...

Personal: Family of Juan, Georgina, and Carlos Hernandez... Abner enjoys hiking, gaming, cooking, and swimming in his free time...
