Vince Gonzalez joined EOU's coaching staff in 2013 as a student assistant and video coordinator. 
 
Prior to EOU, Gonzalez was the running back and linebackers coach for one season at University City High School in San Diego. A 2011 graduate of University City High School, Gonzalez played varsity football before suffering a career-ending ankle injury. 
 
Gonzalez earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from EOU in 2015.
