First year with the Mountaineers. Thorstad be working with the Defensive Line and Strength and Conditioning. Shea played his collegiate career at Western Washington University where he won the Co-Charles Lappenbusch Memorial Coaches Award. Shea was the WWU Defensive Player of the Week vs. Nebraska-Omaha. Also played and lettered one season at Adams State College (Colo.) ... Saw action in all 10 games for Grizzlies, making three starts at offensive line.
While attending WWU Shea received his degree in Humanities and Social Sciences with a minor in Communications and Linguistics. He plans to get his Masters degree in Business Administration while coaching for the Mounties.
