Head Coach | 3rd Season
Kathleen Brown is going into her third season as the head coach of the Mountaineer Cheer and Dance team in 2021-22. Brown has seven years of cheer experience and three years of coaching experience.
In her first season of leading of the spirit squads, Brown instituted stunting to cheer and dance's performances during both football and basketball seasons. She is looking to build and develop the team in order to have the team look into competitive cheer and dance competitions during future seasons.
Prior to her coaching career, Brown has been a CORE instructor, Tutor Coordinator, and Student Success Coordinator for EOU since 2012. Coach Brown's philosophy puts a priority on making the team academically successful while creating leaders that can impact their team, athletics, and the community as a whole.
