A three-sport letter winner while at Eastern. He lettered 4 years in baseball, 3x in basketball, and 1x in football. During his senior year, Noland was selected as Eastern's outstanding male athlete. He was a 3x all-district performer in baseball, twice as an outfielder and once as a second baseman. Noland has a career batting average of .383. In 1980 he established a school record league batting average of .535. At the time of his induction, Noland holds five Eastern career records: at bats (453), runs (133), doubles (34), stolen bases (83), and game winning RBI (16). Noland is a physical education and driver's education teacher at Vale High School. He is the schools' head baseball coach, and assitant volleyball and girls' basketball coach.
