Ronda graduated in 1982 with a degree in Business/Accounting. She was a four year competitor for the Mountaineers in Cross Country and Track, earning All-American honors in Cross Country her junior year (1979) with a sixth place finish at the AIAW National Championships. Ronda qualified for nationals in cross country three times, competed all four years at the AIAW regional track meet and qualified for the national track meet once.
Ronda was named Eastern's Outstadnging Female Athlete in 198- and the Female Scholar-Athlete at Eastern in 1981. At the time of her induction, she holds the school records in the 1,500 and 5,000 in track and the all-time best time for the 5k in cross country.
