Scott competed for the Mountaineers from 1967-1971. He was recognized by the Oregon Collegiate Conference as an All Conference Honorable Mention selection in ‘68, ‘69, ‘70, and All District in ’70 and ‘71. Scott was also a member of the 1969-1970 OCC championship teams. Scott was drafted by the San Diego Padres and later signed a pro contract with the Philadelphia Phillies and assigned to the Walla Walla A Northwest league.
