Roger competed for the Mountaineers in 1970 and 1971. Rada earned Evergreen Conference 1^st team honors as an offensive lineman in ’70 and ’71 and was chosen as an NAIA All-American in 1971. Rada also served as the student body president during the 1971-72 academic year.

Roger earned is Bachelors Degree in 1972, Masters in 1980 and PHD in 1984.
