Competing from 1991-1994 Abel earned All-Conference 1^st team recognition, as well as being named to the District 2 team and was Co Player of the Year in 1993. Voted team most valuable player twice Abel played one year professionally with the Tri City Posse in 1995. While at EOU Abel held various records including runs, hits, triples and RBI’s.
