Harold Northcott was a pivotal part of EOU baseball for three straight years with 32 wins in 1984, 34 in 1985, and 39 in 1986. Northcott went on to collect accolades after his career with the Mounties by being named the Most Valuable Canadian Player for Team Canada during the 1985 Intercontinental Cup and qualifying for the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Harold also went on to have an illustrious coaching career starting in 1988 that has seen him make tremendous contributions to the advancements of baseball in Canada. Harold has been married for thirty-five years to his wife Barb. Together they have raised three children, Dustin, Chad, and Heidi, all of whom went on to become accomplished athletes themselves.
